Personality

Jackson has also been imported from America and is co-owned with our good friend and fellow breeder Andreas Schröder ("Sassy Mountains") who lives in the beautiful Siebengebirge near Bonn.

Unfortunately, his original breeder Crystal („Magnolia Hills”) had a family emergency at the time of birth, which is why she had to bring Lizzy and her puppies to her breeder friend, Amy, who took over the litter. Since it is standard to dock the puppies within the first 72 hours after birth in America, all of the puppies were docked, including our Jax, who was supposed to keep his tail...

Nevertheless, Jax is an absolutely fearless and happy little boy with an incredible amount of charm. It felt like he already knew what live was all about when he arrived here as a little puppy, as cool as he still copes with every new situation – and always finds a reason to express his happiness and playfulness. He is always in a good mood and likes every person and animal he meets. He may not have a tail anymore, but he has ants in his pants – a lot of ants! He is not hyper, but never really sits or stands still, because he gets so excited about any kind of affection. He does learn and obey really well though.

Jackson really doesn't know a stranger, he is the opposite of reserved and insecure – he will follow and walk with every stranger without hesitation and also greets every stranger (or masked man in covid-19 times) and dog as if they were his best friends and is always behaving nice and friendly. If he meets another dog, he immediately starts running and playing with him/her. I love his happiness and carefreeness. He enjoys every day and eveything he does.

He avoids any kind of trouble and loves to work and do agility. He can't attend at tournaments due to his docked tail, but he's a great athlete and has an awesome talent for agility!
